960 trans pan and gasket 900 1997

Has anyone else experienced this...replaced my trans filter and gasket couple yrs ago and i recall the pan bolts all around seemed to not tighten much or it felt they could be easily stripped and never really got a good feeling about the seal.

Doing it again soon and was wondering if i should go with all rubber gasket or napa has a rubber/cork gasket listed under lexus ls400 aw trans. Does the material make a difference in the seal of the pan?
