Loud howling sound from driveline only when decelerating 200 1992

Looking for some direction with this weekends project. 92 245 makes a loud howl when you take your foot off the gas going over 30mph. It seems like the sound is coming from the back of the driveline (drive shaft or diff.) I can make the sound goway if I left foot brake and keep the slightest pressure on the gas (maintaining slight load on engine and driveline. Any thoughts? Otherwise I'll start at the diff replacing bearing and u-joints until its gone. I hoping for a shorter job than that. Thanks in advance for your opinions and experience.
