can't get oil filter off 1993 240 200

It came off just far enough to pour some oil out. It was wedging up against a big rubber thing. Is that the engine mount? I managed to screw the filter back on with difficulty. Assuming it's the mount, should I plan to replace both sides while I'm at it?
