No Power Above Idle 200 1991

I suddenly lost all power above idle. The car starts and idles ok and seems normal if you accelerate slowly, but if you give it any throttle it just gasps and goes nowhere (20 MPH is about top speed).

Temperature seems normal so I'm thinking the cat is ok. I'm guessing it's the Air Mass Meter. Can anyone confirm or have another suggestion?

The car is a 1991 240 with 244,000.
