I found out today that (at least in TX) if the car was manufactured with power steering, in order to pass inspection, it all has to be hooked up and working. I cut the rotten old belt off months ago and decided I like it fine without PS.
Now I can't find, in either of these books or this lovely Brickboard, the detailed instructions I seem to need. I'm too old to just go blundering into it and find out too late that I permanently messed something up, and I don't remember how I probably did it years ago.
How in the heck do I put a new belt on between the front of the crankshaft pulley and the front of the A/C pulley (B23F engine)? I mean how do I get the front of the crankshaft pulley off? There's a 22mm nut in the middle and several small nuts around it and no slots to put a screwdriver in to keep the engine from turning. That darn beer didn't work to get my thinking processes straightened out.
thanks
