Hi all.
My daughters proejct car - 91 240 sedan - came to us with the front bumper compressed on the passenger's side.
It appears after opening things up that the bumper shock did not remain compressed, but that the bolt that holds it to the engine bay actually bent and tore the sheet metal.
I've got it out, but it's not clear to me what the replacement bolt attaches to. Was there a threaded recepticle in the frame that also tore? I see half a hole that I could slip the bottom of the bolt into (maybe) and I may be able to get nut on the end. Just not sure what it is supposed to look like.
Any advice?
Thanks!
