Squeal when braking with car STOPPED 900 1993

I've had a number of symptoms over the years (1990 740 sold at 305K), but I now have a new one on my 1993 940. After driving, sometimes there will be a squeal from the front when I push on the brake. It can be loud and it only happens when the car is stopped - there is no squeal when braking while the car is rolling.
