PNP Switch V 90 S90-V90 2008

The up arrow on my dash was flashing and the wse lighst were flashing on the console and I replaced the PNP switch with a new one from volvo and the problem remains. I have tried disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes to get it to reset and still the lights flash. I have checked for a trouble code and none is stored. HELP_any suggestions besides take it to the dealer??
