Brake Light Issues 200 1987

I keep blowing my brake light fuse. I jumped out my pedal switch, and the fuse held, replaced the switch and thought I was done. Another fuse, a bulb fail relay, fuse held for a little while, and yet another fuse. My middle brake light had a double filament bulb in it, could that have been the issue? Please help!
