USING STOP LEAK FOR HEAD GASKET REPAIR IN A 940 900

Have a slight head gasket leak in my 1993 940. Looks like antifreeze is running down right hand sign of engine block between cylinders 2 and 3. No antifreeze going into cyclinders or exhaust. This happened when the car temperature ran one time above dead normal because of a failing water pump. It must have slightly warped the head. Will take $800 plus to fix if I have someone replace it. Wanted to know everyone's take on using Bar brand stop leak pellets or some corresponding product, mixing conservatively and only using small amount. My neighbor swears by it and has used it before.
