replacement for silver tape on rubber bumpers 200

I usually hang out on the 120 Forum, but as my 120 is almost restored, I have turned my attention to reviving my 85 245, so I am posting a question here as I haven't been able to find an answer in the archives.

The black rubber bumpers have a 1" wide silver tape that runs lengthwise along the front of the bumper. It is faded and cracked and I would like to apply a new tape to cover over the old. What can I use for this? Is this some Volvo "special tape"?
