I'm hoping to finish up some wiring on my 444/B20 upgrade this weekend. I have an integrally regulated alternator. Can someone elaborate on the way to wire this up? I found some info in the archives, but only bits and pieces, nothing complete. One comment I found interesting and would greatly appreciate a bit more info on was this:
"The field lead for the alternator will attach to the spade fitting. It should be switched. Cars with factory alternator use the ground side of the instrument idiot lights for this. Maybe someone else can elaborate."
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!
I'll try and post a photo of my alternator, so you can see what kind it is, but I'm not always having luck with the image posting.
