Benchtesting a 6 Volt tube radio? 444-544

Hello Everyone,
I would like to test my recently acquired 6 volt European tube radio to see if it is functioning. It's a Centrum Autoradio made in Sweden in the mid-50s, and was an original accessory option for the radios put in the early PV444s in Sweden. I can't find any info on the original wiring diagram for this radio. There isn't a separate ground wire, so, I'm assuming it gets grounded when it's mounted to the chassis?

Here are some photos to share my rare find:

Here it is just sitting in my dash. I don't like how I've mounted it low. I saw it done this way in one of my Volvo books, but now I can't put the 444 emblem under it. In my brochure it shows the three detail lines on the chromed faceplate lined up with the 3 lines on the chrome trim behind. I like that better. Luckily, I have both an extra radio plate for the dash and the chrome trim piece.

Here's how I mocked up the way I want my dash to look once everything is finished. I have not installed my A/C unit yet, will be later in the Fall

Thanks in advance for any input!
Christopher
