740 AT won't stay in gear - HELP! 700 1990

My 745T will shift out of park, but will not stay in any gear except reverse. Anyone have any ideas? There was no warning of this (e.g. odd shifting previously, etc.), it just surprised my wife this morning when she went to go out.
