Weber question 120-130

This is a question for Weber folks. I have the Cannon intake manifold and DGV carburetor as installed by a previous owner. The manifold has holes for circulating coolant under the carb, but the fittings and hoses were never installed. It is running pretty well now, with a carb rebuild, new fuel pump and fuel filters. I am wondering if it could run even better with the rest of the kit. Seems that extra hundred degrees would help, but I am only guessing. I live in Tacoma, Washington, where winters go down to plus 25 Fahrenheit on a real smackdown cold spell. Summer up to 85, rarely. Worth it? What do you think?

By the way, I recently read some helpful posts here about dealing with crud in the old fuel tanks, and I learned a lot. I want to add something that some weber owners may not know, as I did not. You can install fuel filters all day long and still have a bad running engine. But with a weber you can unscrew the primary idle jet and look to see if it's clogged, and blow the fuzz out if it is. then maybe it will run better, as mine did.
