Halleluja, halleluja,...!! Mine eyes have S-e-e-e-n the glory! I have finally
B-E-E-E-E-N to the mountaintop! Right now, on Ebay (auction #110445602976),
there is an early 121 B-18. The car is located in Chile, and looks really clean and original. But, it also has what I have, after over 30 years of tinkering and fooling around with old Volvos, NEVER, ever, even seen a photo of; namely a FRONT BENCH SEAT!! A FRONT BENCH SEAT!!!! (Sorry, I don't get out much!)
Even in Europe, I've never seen one. Heard of them. Had people tell me "of, course, they're all over the place, where have YOU been,..?" Maybe they're in the parts catalogs, but,...but, I've never had the pleasure, until now. There it is, in living color, on the auction page. Really love to have one in my '68 220. Anyone ever seen on in the U.S., or were all the Amazons delivered w/ bucket seats?
Hell, maybe one day, if I were really ambitious, I could attempt to recreate something similar! I really like that early upholstery pattern, even though the
later 122 seats are w-a-ay better to live with, headrests and all that.
Can someone tell me how to capture the photo from the Ebay page?
