88 760 turbo boost regulator switch, can it cause turbo stumbling? 700

Hi...

My 88 760 (111K) wagon stumbles under hard boost.

I tried a different AMM, a new air filter to turbo hose, and checked the drain on the intercooler for a leak...stil stumbles. Not sure it is not an air leak, it runs fine if you don't hit the turbo hard. Don't know for sure that there is not a leak.

Good Volvo man says it might be the boost regulator switch...I never heard of it. Anyone know where it is at? Is it expensive?

Could it be my problem??
