Lesson learned, electrical connector

I had a nagging problem with my hazard lights. The turn signals worked fine. The hazards only worked on the right side. In order to get all four hazards working I also had to use the left turn signal. Weird.

So I did a little digging. I swapped the hazard switch. Same thing.

Scratched my head again. Then I noticed. When I was plugging the hazard switch back into the connector, one of the terminals was sticking out of the back of the connector. I looked into the connector holes and, sure enough, that terminal had pushed out and was not making connection. It was the green wire, left flasher lights. I re-seated the terminal, made the connection, and everything works.

Lesson learned. Double check the connector terminals.
