This is sad. Ford is ready to take 1/3 of the 1999 value of Volvo. SUV's and luxury vehicles are exploding in popularity in China. Geely says they would keep Volvo autonomous. About 3/4 of the 20,000 employees are located in Sweden. I wish the Swedish government would consider actually purchasing the company, since it seems like such an iconic brand. But they don't seem to want to get into the automotive industry. Can't blame them.
