I was reading about the fluid change posts about the rear diff fluid on these cars. There is no drain plug only a fill plug. My pinion seal was leaking so I decided to change the fluid as I had to top it up anyway. It is much easier to get at the plug with the driveshaft out of the way so if your pinion seal is leaking you should plan on changing the fluid as you will have to top it up anyway. I ended up sucking the fluid out and then refilling it with the same tool. You will have to have something with a fairly thin tube to get in there to suck it out. I think I got about a litre out but put in about a litre and a half so it was probably down about half a litre with the leak and changing the seal.
