My 92 240 4 door is giving me fits!! all started one morning came out to go to work and the battery was dead as a doornail. Jumped it, went to work, end of day, dead again. Jumped, drove home parked, next am, crank, no start. No fuel. Grabbed the Fuel pump relay, full of H20. Swapped for another, Started. OK, fuel pump relay + H20 = complete circuit=dead batt. Now the funny part... 2 Days later, NO crank, NO start. Turns out Neutral safety switch is acting up. Intermittent staring, or no crank, or no fuel pump. Replaced fuel pump. No crank sometimes, jostling the shifter makes it start. BUT intermittent also no windows, radio may cut out, clicking when brake applied (the lock out on shifter going in and out w/ each apply of brakes), O/D arrow of and on alternately w/ seat belt light. Looking at this site see PNP sensor info, but can't find that applying to 240 model. Is ther a pnp switch/sensor for the 240? This is NOT a fuse, fuel pump relay brand new, except for the fuel pump gaining water, no other elec, probs. (except horn cuts out sometimes and rear defogger not consistently working. Sorry to be so wordy, but these have to have some reference to the neutral safety switch, pnp? thanks, Andrea
