Anyone know what this part is, or what it's for? It's on a new-to-me 1984 240 GLT, it's mounted behind the driver-side headlamp area, just to the left of the radiator. Sure looks to me like a ballast resistor, but what would it be doing there? No wires in sight, so it doesn't look like it was ever used, but why would it be there?
