Help! We were on our way to Maine from Brooklyn in our '91 244 with a 5 speed manual trans. and had a little hiccup on I-95. After hitting a bump in the road, the car seemed to lose acceleration power (didn't actually shut off). The shift indicator light started to blink and the check engine light came on. After pulling on to the shoulder, the shift indicator stopped flashing and acceleration power came back. We pulled to the side and checked codes, got 2-3-2, and 1-2-1. Reset the codes and the problem seemed to be resolved. We're on our way back home now and after hitting a similar bump (the same one???), the same thing happened again. Were able to resolve the problem the same way, but this is obviously not a one-time fluke.
Any thoughts? I couldn't find anything related to the flashing shift indicator light by searching the board.
Thanks!
