Hi,
I posted on the ALL model board because I don't think this is a 900 specific problem.
Once warmed up the engine will bog down/hesitate/stumble noticeably but only when the accelerator pedal held very slightly depressed, if you accelerate or take your foot off the pedal the engine runs smoothly. Idle is not perfect, but OK, fuel economy is reasonable. The only other symptom, which may be a separate issue is that the engine will bog dwn very briefly when accelerating from a stopCar is a 93 944 with b230f, Rex/Regina.
I've checked and rechecked for vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks for hours and have removed and tightened everything I can see. I cleaned the throttle body and IAC and tested the TPS.
I've swapped, tested or replaced the o2 sensor, ECT, RSR, CPS, air temp meter, MAP sensor, changed wires, cap, rotor, plugs, checked grounds, cleaned contacts on the coil.
No gas coming out of the FPR vacuum hose, but disconnecting it doesn't seem to make it run any different.
What am I missing here?
Thanks,
Ron
