Motor Oil Selection 900

I have a '91 940 turbo with 110000 miles and a small leak @ the distributor. I bought the car with 100000 miles on it.I have owned it for a little more than a year and I am in Massachusetts.I have done 4 oil changes using either Rotella T 15w40 conventional or Motorcraft 5w30 Synthetic blend,depending on the season. I am soliciting opinions on what is the best oil to use. Obviously, I don't want the leak to get worse and I don't want new leaks to develop.I really love the car and want to keep it healhy and running as long as possible. Synthetics,Dino,Heavy Duty(diesel),High Mileage,0w40,5w30,10w40,5w40,Rotella,Castrol,Mobil,etc. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
