Molybdenum in engine? 200

This stuff has been around for a long time, coming, if I remember, out of WWII chemistry.

IPD offers a product from Germany called Lubromoly to be dumped into engine to make it spin with less friction and less winter drip off internally leading to less cold start-up wear. Is this true? Does anyone use it? Doesn't cost much, couldn't hurt, may quiet valve train noise? I checked FAQ's but found reference to their synthetic oils only.
