Given that winter is almost here I was hoping to clean out my cowl vents so all the accumulated leaves and pine needles wouldn't be sitting there until spring. On my 1990 the operation was simple: Pop off the sill cover, pull back the carpet, remove the plastic plug and clean out the debris that had worked its way down to the rocker panel. On my 1992 245 I was surprised to see that there is no longer a plastic plug. My question is how can you clean out this junk on a 1992 or later? Is there some other point of access?
