CPS band color - white=good? 200 1989

CPS (Crank Position Sensor) 89-up: am I correct that there are only two colors: a yellow early one that has design problems and should always be replaced; and a white one that is good?

Are all replacement units (Volvo and aftermarket) marked with a white band?

Is the thought that Volvo caught the problem early and stopped selling yellow-band replacements? ie. there are no newer CPS units with yellow-bands - say one on a shelf somewhere?

And there are no other colors? I thought I'd seen a green band on an 89 car I had but I might have imagined that.

(I did look through the archives 1st but didn't see any comments about the color and other possibilities so I'm asking for clarification.)
