swapping aw 71 tail shaft housing 200

1993- 1995 used on the AW71 transmission a ball bearing instead of a tail shaft bushing and all in all is much easier i am told to replace the seal and other bits back there than the earlier bushing and output seal.

does anyone know if a 1993 aw 71 bearing type tail housing can be swapped whole for a pre 1993 tail housing using a bushing?

are there any other things that need to be swapped if indeed this can be done?
