quick question about p/s pump pulley 200

Hey folks, I've got a '87 245 dl, I'm changing out the mounting brackets on my p/s pump (curious, has anyone else had these break?) and I need to pull off the pulley to get at some of the bolts. The bentley manual directs me to use a "suitable puller" for this task. Not having done this before and having no puller on hand, I'm gonna go buy one but I wanted some advice on what type of puller would work.
