What brand[s] do people have who use this method to remove fluids? Besides using it on my brick I want to use it on the other vehicles I maintain. There is one type that uses an electric pump, sold on amazon.com, there is another with a manual pump but one reviewer said the lengths of tubing that were included were all to short, there is one where the mfg states it can't be used on vehicles with the flexible [cable-like] dipsticks which is my on 06 GMC Canyon. Since I want to use it for both engine oil and auto trans fluid I need different diameter tubing to go down the filler. Anyone out there using an oil extractor on multiple vehicles, what are the things to look for and avoid, basically consumer buying guide info.
I use a turkey baster to suction out my power steering fluid but that isn't going to cut it for 5 or so qts. of oil.
