B230 engine Timing mark on Head? 200

Did I miss something or is there no timing mark Cast into the Head for lining up the Cam?
Obviously there is a Mark on the Timing Cover backplate but I didn't see any indicator mark on the Cast Aluminum Head. I thought it was odd for Volvo to depend solely on a removable Plastic piece.
The Crank and Intermediate shafts have respective markings on the Cast aluminum Housing.
