Hello,

I recently acquired a white 1989 245 dl and I'd like to know if anyone knows of an honest, knowledgeable, and fairly priced Volvo mechanic in Champaign or Urbana, IL. I've posted my query on craigslist locally and was told about Peter B's. Are there any others? Per the advice on this thread (http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=1243087&show_all=1) I have also placed an order with ipd for the Bentley manual, ceramic fuses, fuel pump relay, and radio suppression relay (although now thinking I goofed as that is a 740 item, no?). I'm also thinking about getting a 951 spare ecu/icu combo and an overdrive relay. Is there anything I'm missing as far as the spare parts in the car kit? This is my first Volvo. I've wanted a 245 since I was 17 years old and have waited (and obsessed) 10 years for this one. I feel like Captain Ahab.
