tools needed for a valve adjustment on an 1989 245GL? 200

I just got a 1989 240GL wagon, and it needs a valve adjustment. Bentley says I need a 5022 or equivalent to compress the valves, and an 5026 to remove the shims (that is a B230F engine, if it matters). Are there easier to find equivalents (say, a small screwdriver and tweezers to get the shims out?) or should I just stick with the Volvo tools. I also need a micrometer.

Also, I have a leak from the area of the molding on the drivers door area, where it starts to bend down from the roof. I park pointed uphill, and when I start going down hill, a bit of water drips out if it has been raining. Any thoughts on where to look to fix it? Care does have a stock roof rack.

Anything else I should check? The car has a number of issues (nothing on the rear door works, I suspect all the suspension bushings need replacement, ....)

And the heater really only works on the freeway. Temp gauge seems fine, so it is some aspect of the heater. I'll take a look later.
