In response to a request for more information , I will give you a simple description of the Power Steering unit . The entire mechanism comes complete with the Electric Motor and the drive gearing fitted to a new Steering shaft which replaces the existing shaft between the Steering Wheel and the rubber coupling just inside the engine bay . There are 2 power wires to be taken from the fuse box, 1 goes to the electric motor and the other to the ECU . Simple. If for any reason there was a power failure , the steering will revert back to the normal load , so there is no chance that the steering could get any heavier than it previously was . They are available in both LEFT and RIGHT HAND DRIVE . It is so easy to fit that the average home mechanic can do it himself. It's even easier to fit to a 122S .
