This has to be dealt with, as it almost caused the wife to have a wreck today.
93 940t w/ 280k.
It cranks fine, runs fine - but after a spell of driving - it seems like it loses power, but at the same time to me it seems as if pressure is building somewhere that eventually causes (or agravates) the problem. It gets to a certain point, you can feel it stumble (going along at 50-70). If you maintain the same pressure on the pedal, it will likely die. If you vary the pedal, maybe backing off a bit - it seems to remedy itself. If it does die, after just a minute or so - it will start right back up.
Any ideas?
The reason I mentioned the grounding is I know this is something I have to deal with, as it has never been done - and I am having issues for sure here, along with an ABS light that stays on (probably dirt at the wheels on this).
Thanks for all help, guys! Save my marriage ...SAVE my wife! :)
PS>>>I note that Hindinburg is having wife issues too. Maybe these are related. I know one thing that is related. It is tough loving old RWD Bricks, and getting the wife to love them as much - especially when they are reaching a life stage of one issue after another. Age does that, you know!
