The car runs for a few miles and then dies and won't start again. I give it a few hours and it starts again and runs for a few miles. I disconnected the fuel line running up to the injectors to see if I was getting fuel. I cranked the engine with the fuel line disconnected and the gas was barely running. I figured there might be something wrong with my high-pressure fuel pump. Both fuel pumps are getting about 10.5 volts. I thought they were supposed to get 12+ volts. I hotwired the high pressure pump directly from the battery and it works. The in-tank pump is buzzing. I had to re-solder the connections on the fuel pump relay, so I thought maybe it has something to do with the pumps only getting 10.5 volts.

Questions:
1. How much gas pressure should be coming out of the fuel line and how far should the gas shoot out of the line? (The last time I checked the gas shot about 1.5 feet)
2. How much voltage are the fuel pumps supposed to be getting? I assume they are supposed to get the full 12 volts in order to operate correctly.

I am probably going to get another pump relay to see if that changes anything. If not, I'll return it.
