Oil pressure switch broken on block 120-130

Hi all,

Its been a while since i've posted on this forum.

I have a situation on my hands.
I'm busy doing an engine transplant on my late dads 122s.
Last night before lifting the engine into position, I was screwing the oil pressure switch on the block.
After giving it a couple of turns with my wrench, it broken off and a piece of the switch was left inside the block.

Not having any stud extractors etc, I decide to drill the broken piece out (may have been a stupid thing to do) with a smaller drill bit.
After drilling I removed the outer shell of the broken piece and noticed that the treads on the block were still intact.

Now the question is, will the fines that went into the block cause damage?
How do I remove these fines without stripping the entire motor?

PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!

Thanks
