Repost: Third Brake Light Adhesive? 700 1990

This question was asked and answered in a 2009 post in the 200 forum, but the posted solution didn't work for me, so I want to ask again. Recap:

The center brake light is coming detached from the rear window. The light assembly hangs on two metal tabs that are affixed to the window with a strong adhesive.

The answer given in the original post was to use rear window adhesive to reattach the tabs. I got Loc-Tite adhesive, including the pre-cleaner, followed all instructions, and it didn't even come close to holding the tabs on.

Clearly, Volvo is using a much stronger adhesive than what's available at Auto-Zone to attach this light.

Does anybody know what they used, and if it's available?
