Battery disconnected to clear chk eng light NOW NO START PLS HELP S90-V90

96 960 had eng code for emission issue and found out gas flooded charcoal canister and had to replace. So I disconnected battery until part arrived hoping this would reset eng code and put everything back, connected battery and when I opened the driver door, alarm went off and key was in ignition. I finally got it off and when I tried to start it, all lights come on dash, everything works, but wont turnover! Seems to me immobilizer is activated?? I closed everything, locked car with remote, BUT the security led on pass-side is not flashing and always has. I have batter disconnected again, hoping this will reset and KEY IS IN HAND. Thoughts?
