945T heater unit 900

I'm getting ready to order parts for my next foray and want a few opinions.

Car has 260K+ mi on it and various items are starting to need replacement.

My blower motor is bad & the dual vacuum motor for the heater is leaky.

My question is, should I plan on a surgical strike or should I carpet bomb the whole unit?

Would you think it wise to pull the unit & R&R all the vacuum motors & the heater core (original). Or is it an unlikely enough event to see these fail?
