Hello all, I am posting this on behalf of a friend...he's trying to find a specific connector that he is sure was only on the 123gt...here is the description:
"it's a connector that takes 6 male spade connections, and it only exists on the gt 'cos it takes the wires to the extra relays..is part of the extra gt loom..it is a box which is not attached to the bodywork, is 2" x 2" or so, was originally clear plastic (probably) would now be milky/yellowy...same for all versions....lhd/rhd...except on lhd it would be going with the gt loom over to the lh side (as looking at front of car)it appears inside the engine bay, about as far out of the main bulkhead loom grommet as the battery connecting rods, so about 8"?"
Now, it could possibly be something someone themselves put on the car, but he thinks it's there to facilitate easy assembly in the factory of the extra gt loom (for the fogs and relays etc) It is not the extra fusebox.
If anyone with a gt could check to see if they have one, that would be a start...and would clear up whether it was a factory item or not...
Many thanks for your indulgence.
best
Dave
