I've got a 1993 Volvo 240 and it's been getting poor mileage every since I picked it up. I've averaged a few gas ups and it gets ~18 mpg on average which is a huge discrepancy from my other 240 which averaged about 23 with my driving style.
I checked the codes just now and got this:
2-2-1 compensating for extreme lean/rich fuel mixture at cruise
Where should I start checking parts? The check engine light is not illuminating so there may be an underlying issue there as well. I was going to attempt to check the oxygen sensor, but I have no tools and I'm in an apartment complex so I may check it once I get up to DFW in a week.
