odometer not working 200

It's not the little white gear. I replaced that a couple of years ago. I just had it apart and the new gear still has all its teeth. I have removed the service light mechanism. The odometer and trip meter gears are turning freely. The spedometer is working normally. The odometer was working about 60% of the time before I took it apart. Now it's only working about 5% of the time.

So I am down to the little drive motor and the electronics. Are there any bad solder joints or capacitors that I should be looking for. Can I swap in a motor from an older spedometer?

I would replace the whole thing except ABS compatible spedometers are hard to come by. I have been looking for one in KMs for 3 years.
