AC and Cruise: not working

On my 91 940T, the AC and cruise are not working.There is no light on the AC buttone, and no indication that the cruise has electrical power either. Is there a common grond for these two items somewhere? The fuses for each of these items is good, and other items on those fuses are functioning, so I wondered if there was something else that might tie these two things together such as a common ground. Other than that, where might I start looking to see what the problem is?
