'91 ABS? and possible alternator failing . . . 200 1991

Now the car is having problems that I believe are being caused by a bad alternator. I was driving on the highway when a dash light suddenly came on. It was the ABS light. But I thought my '91 did not have ABS, so why would there be a warning light for it? Then the SRS light came on, then the radio went out, the overdrive wouldn't function, the gas gauge and engine temp. gauge stopped working and I couldn't go over 40 mph. This all seemed to start b/c I had turned the a/c on earler in the day to help w/ defogging, but the ac system has leaks, so the compressor? cycles on an off. I thought maybe this had worn down the battery. When I stopped the car it would not start. I got a jump, ,made sure the ac button was switched off, and drove it about 20 miles. The car started again, but now, as soon as I go about 40 mph and use accessories like the radio, have the healights on, heat on, etc. the ABS light and SRS light come on and the gauges stop registering, headlights dim, etc. The last time I had the car at a Volvo dealer they told me that the alternator had a bad bearing (rumbling noise) but that it was still charging the battery. That was about a month and a half (and about 1000 miles) ago. Do these symptoms indicate that the alternator is now failing and needs to be replaced? And does this car have ABS or not? Thanks!
