How to remove spot welds on a 242 rocker panel? 200 1979

I'm in the process of some restoration on my '79 242GT. It still runs like a champ, but had some rust that I'm fixing up in the rear quarters.

Anyways, I'm writing because the other issue is that my brother mistakenly jacked the car up in the middle of the driver's rocker panel, bending it quite badly. Since a good portion of the panel was already fiberglass, I decided to replace the panel.

I have a new panel and have already drilled out most of the spot welds. However, I'm a bit stuck and was wondering if I could get some advice.

1) There are a few spot welds at the top of the panel that are underneath the rear quarter, since it is a two-door and not a four. How do I get at those?

2) Where is best to cut it, since the original panel seems to continue right up the door jambs. I'm going to take the car to someone else to do the welding, seeing as I don't have a welder.

Any advice/experience is greatly appreciated!

Nate
