I replaced the rear bushing on the driver side control arm today.
The Bentley Manual says to lower the car after the nuts and bolts
on the control arm bushings are on finger tight and then after bouncing the car and rolling the car back and forth you can torque the two bushings bolts.
I could not get my torque wrench to fit inside the rear bushing bracket
(very limited space), so
I had to pull the control arm off again, torque the rear bushing inside
its bracket and then re-install the control arm.
Is there another way that I should of torqued that rear bushing?
BTW, the clunk sound is now gone from the driver side wheel area.
