Pristine '83 242ti.53K miles. Problem: pops out of gear (2nd, 3rd)into neutral during spirited twisty driving occasionally. I think lifting off the accelerator. (so smooth, I only know by the eng. revving). Mechanic says tranny, bent fork(?). No other symptoms. Shifts smoothly always. I thought mounts, but they look good. I'd appreciate any input and opinions.
