Missing a hose? 200 1988

I just bought a 1988 240 with a B200E engine (I'm in the UK). It runs okay, but there appears to be a hose (or two?) missing. It looks like there may have once been a hose coming out of the top of the air filter box, just above where the big air hose exits the box. Likewise, there's another spot under the intake manifold that looks like it should have a hose attached to it (see picture). I could be wrong, but it may be the flame trap. I did the jiggle test with the oil filler cap to check the crankcase ventilation. It jiggled, but is light plastic -- so I took the cap off my 144. I put my finger over the hole in the 144 oil cap where the hose attaches on the 144 cap (which I assume is the old system to relieve crankcase pressure), but no slight vacuum was present. It would be very much appreciated if someone could tell me whether there are hoses missing. I plan to remove and clean the throttle body and flame trap (which I'm not sure I've located yet). These new-fangled '80s Volvos are more complicated than I'm used to!

David
